You've just surfed onto the official page of Trina Allen. I am a longtime
writer who recently turned to fiction. I do not consider myself a genre writer, but instead write literary stories about
survival. Each of my characters eventually finds the inner strength to overcome whatever challenge I have created for him or
her. I hope the humor that I am able to incorporate into their stories makes the reading enjoyable.
In order to support my writing habit I develop educational science tests by
day. I live in Raleigh, North Carolina, with my husband, writer and poet Harry
Calhoun. Our beloved black Labrador is featured in Harry's new book
The black dog and the road.
